xrefs and fields

I have an interesting situation.

 

lets say I have 5 window frames each saved as their own file. In each file there is a block with text, with a FIELD pointing to the file name. So i may have

 

WF-01

WF-02

WF-03

WF-04

WF-05

 

Then I have another file with the 5 frames xrefed in. That file is named SHT-400. The problem is when I do thise those blocks no longer point to their xref but rather to the SHT-400. So all 5 frames display SHT-400. How can I force them to point to their original file?
