Toolbars moving and defaults changing

Hello.

I recently upgraded to AutoCAD 2011/Carlson Software 2011. The problem I am having is that my toolbars disappear off the side of the screen every time I restart CAD, even with them locked into location. The standards on some of the commands I use also change, forcing me to reset them every time I use the command. I am not sure what is going on. Any help would be appreciated.

After you have set everything up the way you like do you save the new workspace using a unique name?

I've seen Carlson do that before (it is on my list of cons when we switch software in December)
