SLW210
Is there a way to leave AutoCAD maximized when opening drawings with Excel hyperlinks? This is getting to be a bit nerve wracking.

DANIEL
thats odd, I've never ran 11 but have not seen this in any version I have run (jumped from 2007 to 2012) , could it be a windows setting? or even an excel setting?

SLW210
Through trial and error I discovered that if Excel is maximized when you click the link AutoCAD will be maximized, but if Excel is not maximized when link is clicked AutoCAD is not maximized. Also noticed that if I minimize AutoCAD to the taskbar it does not maximize when I restore it. I believe this could be a Windows 7 thing. I am still searching. Thanks for the help. SLW210
I never recalled this in XP either. I use Excel 2003 and Excel 2007, this happens in both.
