gbradley Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 OK, I didn't know where to post this. Occasionally I have to Plot a D size. We have an HP Designjet T790 Plotter. I don't use the Roll because most of my plots are A size, B size, or C size. I ran out of D size paper and find it hard to get. Does anybody still buy pre-cut D size paper and Sheet Feed? I guess I can buy a roll, but it seems like a waste of paper to use the roll if you are printing a B size or smaller. Quote
gbradley Posted December 15, 2011 Author Posted December 15, 2011 Have you tried looking online? Yes I found this Company Graytex. I was wondering what everyone else does. Quote
resullins Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 I used to use Freedompaper.com. Pretty good company. Quote

Personally, I'd use a laser or ink jet for A size. 8 1/2 x 11 copy paper is cheap by the case at the warehouse stores. If you get the extra spindle, mount 11" roll on one, and 22" roll on the other. You can print 8 1/2 x 11 and 11 x 17 on the 11", then swap them out and print 17 x 22 and 22 x 34 on the other roll. With a little forethought and planning you can save yourself a lot of money and time. Roll paper in the big sizes is a lot cheaper than cut sheets. Group your plots together, print all your a and b size stuff, then swap rolls and print all your c and d size stuff. The dj600 I used to use was self loading. Swap out the roll, start the paper in, it would feed it around, find the edges, trim off about a half inch of the leading edge and was ready to go. Quote
