viewbase printout resolution

Hi guys,

have you never tried to print a viewbase layout with a large scale factor?

The problem I'm having with ac2013 is that the print is coming out with jagged edge.

Why? How can avoid that?

What kind of scale factors are we talking here?

I've used the VIEWBASE command a handful of times and have not encountered a problem however my scale factors are usually in the range of 1/2", 3/4", 1" or 1 1/2" equals a foot. In rare instances I might use 3"=1'.

You're right, I suppose that It happens when I try to customise the scale, using one different than the standard ones

Actually, that wasn't my point. I think you could use non-standard scales and still expect to obtain a good quality print. What scales have you been using?

Hi ReMark, sorry for my late but I had no mail notification to your last message. BTW I'm still having poor quality print with any scales I choose.

I'm in trouble with the edge of the rounded shape...

Either post a copy of the drawing or tell us what non-standard scales you are using.

I cannot discern the cause of the jagged edges based on an image and since you have not attached a copy of the DWG file nor answered my question (which I asked three times) re: the scales you are using I feel that I can no longer assist in this matter. Perhaps someone else can help you. I hope you find a solution.

any scale 1:20 1:50 any one it does not matter always the same

may be it's only my print cartridge ..that is nearly empty make it sense?

the dwg file is too big the forum does not give to me the way to upload it

I should formally apologize with you for our last discussion thread.

I'm really stack with this new viewbase ac2013 command and last days I had problem with both my ADSL connection and my web browser.

I couldn't send you a dwg file but I'd like to do that.

My manage attached interface seems to not let me send a so large file (I suppose).
