Hello board.

For some reason, some fluid elements of my autocad interface are all aligned to right:

As you can see, the command suggestion box is on the right. I don't know where is the setting to get them back to left, and it's really irritating me for some time.

Any suggestions ?

thanks !

Welcome to the forum. :)

Grab the left end of your commandline and drag it over and down to the left edge of the screen, so it docks there.

If it is locked and doesn't seem to want to move, then hold down the CTRL key and try it again (or change your LOCKUI system variable setting

to 0 at the commandline.

thank you for the answer...

I've tried docking and undocking the command line window, but the "suggestions list" is still on the right as you can see in the screenshot, but not on the left...

You can also see that some of the other UI elements are at the rigt of my screen, just like the output menu (right aligned menu content)

Waiting for some suggestions, thanks !

Set your LOCKUI to 0.

Then select another of the default WORKSPACE configurations.

My guess is that you have LOCKED this peculiar configuration inadvertently.

I've tried it now. Seems like it's not helping.

As you can see, not only the list but also thw whole text related to the command bar is displayed on the right:

Any other suggestions please ?

You need to drag the left end of your commandline window to the left edge of your screen, then drag the right end to the right edge and turn off your commandline TRANSPARENCY.

Click on the top of the commandline window and drag it up enough to display 2 lines of commandline history also.

Dock your commandline at the bottom of your screen, then LOCK it at the padlock in the right hand corner.

I'm not sure if I got what you menat exactly but here is the result:

I've dragged the command line window to the left corner and then stretched it so that it displays two lines of history, but as you can see it still displays the suggestions list on the right side of the autocad (instead of left)

The reason it is displaying there is because you are using DYNAMIC INPUT, and that is where your cursor is located on your screen. :D

If you turn off your DYNAMIC INPUT (F12) it will display normally.

Or if you move your cursor to the left side of the screen, or to any point on your screen it will display there, driven by your cursor location.

No, dynamic input is turned off (you can see in the screenshot) and my mouse is not at the place where the list is displayed. The list is displayed jsut at the right side of the command input box.

Damn, I thought I finally had figured it out.

In one of the images your dynamic input was on, in the rest off.

In that case, hell if I know?

Those are about all of the things I could come up with.

If you are able to figure it out, please post what you figured out.

I hope you can get it sorted out.

Are you using the default PROFILE and a default WORKSPACE setting?

You're in luck though, because rkent is online now, I bet he will know the answer.

Yes, I just installed it and this is the first issue.. This is a clean installation.

I did not change anything at all, it is like this out of the box.

I'm unsure if I can figure this out. I've had a similar problem in MAX YEARS ago and I've struggled to find a solution for 3 months, nothing......

You might want to try the REPAIR option, I've never seen this happen before, pretty strange.

I've already tried it as well..

Tried repairing, reinstalling, deleting all REG data and reinstalling, updating my screen card drivers, disabling my second monitor... None of these helped..

Try resetting your Profile. Do it via Options > Profile tab > Reset button.
