Find and Replace without dialog

Recommended Posts

I can't believe Autocad will not let us use lisp or VBA to control the find and replace dialog without out opening a drawing and typing the find command and manually entering fields. Does anyone have a work around for this?

I tried Lee Mac's program Bfind program and it works great! I also like Lee's website he has a lot of other neat programs, especially the mathematical stuff. Thanks nod684 and Lee really nice.

The Bfind command is superb as are most of Lee's programs I find. Only the addition of a way to load in multiple values for change and replace from a csv or txt would make it a Stellar little Lisp. I feel I may be missing a trick here though, if i'm missing this can someone point me to the path of enlightenment?
