John Klement Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 I have only just started using AutoCad and all of a sudden my program will not open ansd save files anymore without, without me typing in the whole filename string. Is there a way of resetting this as it has never done this before? Thanks for any tips. Quote
iainlines Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Type the above into the command line one at a time. filedia, hit enter, 1, hit enter. And so on Sorry JDM, just thought I'd add that as the OP is a newbie Quote
NEXTMARCUS Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 I had the same problem whem i used a script long time ago to print lots of pages of a book in autocad... Quote
rkmcswain Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 It's just FILEDIA (for File DIAlogs) CMDDIA is for CoMmanD DIAlogs, and generally only affects AutoCAD Map and/or Raster Design dialogs these days. I'm not aware of any current AutoCAD command dialogs that honor the CMDDIA setting. Quote
