PaulS00 Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 While inserting station/offset labels, there is a certain area where the labels are not picking up the alignment. As I move the label around, it will grab the alignment "field" per se. This void gets wider and wider as I move a label further away from the alignment since it's right near a curve in the alignment. I recreated the alignment, which did not fix the problem. Everything past that point is fine as you can see in the pic. I drew a line from the endpoint of the leader with the ???? perpendicular to the alignment, inserted a label at that point and it reads properly. I audited the drawing and restarted CAD. Thoughts? PaulS00 Posted April 8, 2013 Author Posted April 8, 2013 Nevermind. I realized that the curves were not drawn tangent. Fixed Quote
CyberAngel Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Thanks for posting your solution. Someone will appreciate it later. Quote
PaulS00 Posted December 5, 2013 Author Posted December 5, 2013 So I'm having this problem again. However, this time there is no curve. Rather, a simple change in direction. In the picture, there is one horizontal line draw perpendicular to the centerline, and another drawn to the centerline perpendicular to the line of the other direction. As you move away from centerline, a gap is formed. How can I solve this gap? Quote
PaulS00 Posted December 5, 2013 Author Posted December 5, 2013 Fixed. So I split the PI with a distance of Quote
Organic Posted December 5, 2013 Posted December 5, 2013 Personally if it wasn't working as desired, I would have just manually calc'd the point and wrote/typed it in. It is nice to know a fix though. Quote
