There was a command in 2008 called Dim Text Edit that allowed one to move dimesions - is there an equivilent in 2013? There was another one called Dim Update; is there one in 2013?

Thanks

Regarding plain AutoCAD (I'm using 2012):

For moving dimension text, there are several options associated with the grip.

As for updating dimensions, MATCHPROP does a great job in most cases.

If you look on your DIMENSIONS toolbar you will find both of those commands are still there, and quite a few more.

Thanks Dadgad - but I discovered that I can do what I want simply by selecting the dimension and moving it with the little blue handles. That is more elegant than picking something from a drop-down box.

Dim Update is only available via a button as it is a Macro, though you could input this on the command line.

Macro-

^C^C_-dimstyle _apply

Command Line

-Dimstyle>Enter>A (for Apply)>Enter>A>Enter (for All or select dimensions)>Enter

Yes, that little discovery was great for me as well, which is why I mentioned it as an alternative. Glad you find it useful.
