humpo Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Hi All the firm i work for would like to link AutoCAD 2013 to CAFM Explorer (computer aided facilities Management) they have only just realised that the full AutoCAD package will need purchasing as the LT version does not have this functionality. anyone have any experience with this set up? how does it work? is it a ball ache to set up?? any advice appreciated Quote
f700es Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 I use a CAFM system called Archibus. It is pretty pricey but it does work. Yes you do have to have the full version. Quote
humpo Posted April 29, 2013 Author Posted April 29, 2013 thanks for the response. is there much work on the CAD end to make it all fit together? Quote
f700es Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Yeah, it's pretty extensive on mine. I am getting a reinstall this morning as my machine died a few weeks ago. Not sure exactly what yours is but mine ties into an Oracle database as well as a web-server for publishing data and images to a website. I'll take a look at CAFM Explorer's website and do some digging. Quote
