samifox Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Hi Using autocad 2009 I get crazy with linetype issues I have a host and xref drawing, I set all LTS to be thesame, and have all LTS of the lines set the same. In layouts, I can see some viewports hidden lines displayedcorrectly and some not, even if I copy the good viewport to the bad layout itwont display correctly, the same if I match properties the good to the bad. It seems like it has nothing to do with the viewport butwith the layout. Is that a bug or misunderstanding of mine? Thanks Shay Quote
Bogbadbob658 Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Have you checked the annotation settings between the different layouts also the VP options in the layer table settings? Quote
eldon Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 There can exist in the same drawing, two versions of any linetype from the files acad.lin and acadiso.lin. One is 25 times the scale of the other. When drawings that have been created with the different linetypes are amalgamated, then all linetypes should be reloaded from the same file (whichever one you want to use). Then use a global LTS and check that no individual lines have a separate LTS set for them. Quote
samifox Posted May 1, 2013 Author Posted May 1, 2013 Have you checked the annotation settings between the different layouts also the VP options in the layer table settings? ill give it a TRY is there a way to set all lines scale in the drawing at once? any lisp? Quote
eldon Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 If you select everything, and then in the Properties box, you can type in the required LTS. No lisp needed, although I am sure some generous soul will offer one. Quote
caddcop Posted May 1, 2013 Posted May 1, 2013 Are you familiar with PSLTSCALE, MSLTSCALE and LTSCALE? If you set all of these to 1, linetypes will scale by the drawing scale or the vport scale. This allows to viewports on a single sheet, at different scales to display a linetype in both to plot looking like they are using the same scale. Quote
