Changing Colour of Border and Title Block in about 50,000 layut tabs (Company Rebrand

All,

We have deicded to have a company re-brand.

This involves a New Logo and slight colour change!!!

We have booklets with up to 30 layout tabs in each one.

Is there a quick way to change the border and title block colour on all these layouts rather than have to do a quick select on each tab!!

Your knowledge could save a colleague about three years of his life!!!

I suggest you take a look at Lee Mac's site, as I will be amazed if you don't find something,

or more likely a whole bunch of things (lisps) which will make your life better, and help you effortlessly accomplish this daunting analog task.

Is everything defined in a named block? If so create a new block with the same name but with your changes.

From here there are a number of options but basically you need to INSERT the new block into your target drawing and accept the redefine. You can use the INSERT command, navigating to your new file, to test this out.

If that works you can either script the changes or look for a LISP - I am certain Lee will have a suitable one.

If the logo is an image then a 1 go does all just make the new logo the same name as the old one and overwrite to the same location.

We've worked around this issue.

We have changed the colour that the title page prints the border with

We changed the plot style to print colour 160 as 0,66,105.
