the_phil Posted October 7, 2008 Author Share Posted October 7, 2008 yep did that double click editing setting was on. sussed it out in the end - other commands weren't working properly either, looking through the system variables "SETVAR" discovered that "PICKFIRST" was off. still - don't know how that happened. nocturne00 Posted October 8, 2008 Share Posted October 8, 2008 yep did that double click editing setting was on. sussed it out in the end - other commands weren't working properly either, looking through the system variables "SETVAR" discovered that "PICKFIRST" was off. still - don't know how that happened. that would be the same as the non/verb selection setting under option. this commonly happens when you are using the MVSETUP command, when aligning or rotating viewports, it resets your ONSNAP and PICKFIRST variable (but only until the command is done). If you terminate the command prematurely (ESC), changes done by the MVSETUP command will retain, thus your PICKFIRST variable, ONSNAP settings are screwed up Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
