I know it can be done by plotting to a DX file but even with the hide lines on I end up with a lot of unwanted lines that need to be cleaned up which can take up too much time. Please help!! Quote

Please help!! 2 ways I know of.. there is a flatten lisp that one can use and the bonus tools come with a flatten and remove hidden lines tool but of course you must be using full AutoCAD and not LT. Mr T Posted January 21, 2003 Posted January 21, 2003 SOLDRAW SOLVIEW etc. This automatically creates 2D views. This is, done in 'layouts'. Just hit F1 and search the index if you are not sure. Nick Quote

miscille Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I get booted out when I try to flatten. I am working on a drawing from China and it is doing other weird things tho....cannot explode blocks, they are not grouped either. anybody ever see anything like this? Quote

For 3D Objects, try the FLATSHOT command.
