skipsophrenic Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 Ok, i've received a dxf and saved as a dwg, tried to offset the 3d polyline in it and returned with this. Command: OFFSETCurrent settings: Erase source=No Layer=Source OFFSETGAPTYPE=0 Specify offset distance or [Through/Erase/Layer] : Select object to offset or [Exit/Undo] : Specify point on side to offset or [Exit/Multiple/Undo] : Cannot offset that object So i thought run the flatten command and then offset it, but I still keep coming up with the same error message. Any ideas 'cos i'm stumped. Quote
wannabe Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 Make sure it has no Z values; check in the properties etc. Also, sometimes it will always appear as a 3D poly. But there is a Lisp that will convert it to a 2D poly. 3DPoly_2_LWPoly.lsp Quote
