alijahed Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Hi All, very simple question! I have 2 lines which the second one has started from the end point of the first one. how do I put them together as one object. Cheers Ali Quote
soleary Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Try the PEDIT command if the lines are collinear, join will work Quote
Patrick Hughes Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Or you can avoid the PEDIT (join) altogether and and create the two lines with PLINE (polyline) when drawing. Quote
alijahed Posted December 6, 2008 Author Posted December 6, 2008 Or you can avoid the PEDIT (join) altogether and and create the two lines with PLINE (polyline) when drawing. thank u All, I knew PE but let me explain the situation more, I received a drawing which is drawn in a strange way!!! instead of having a line from A to B, I have 2 or more lines in between. So when I want to select that line I have to be careful to select all of them. What I'm looking for is a command to join them and make them as one object (like join in PE) but change that in to a line which has just one start point at A and one end point at B. Cheers Ali Quote
