EMS_0525 Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Anyone successfully mask text that is dtext, annotive and rotated? i have contour labels that are annotive, dtext and at all different angles, text mask wont work. So i dont have to trim the contours out for the text. ps. i tried shrinking the dwg to post here, but its too large. cant get it small enough Quote
EMS_0525 Posted March 20, 2009 Author Posted March 20, 2009 i got it, exported it to acad 2000 format... im on 09 ACAD-XP.dwg Quote
Organic Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 Can't open the .dwg up (don't have AutoCAd on my home pc). If you convert the dtext to mtext (with the txt2mtxt command - although you may want to use a lisp to do this command on them all at once, instead of individually) you should be able to then get that background mask working for you. EMS_0525 Posted March 20, 2009 Author Posted March 20, 2009 when converted to mtext the text shifts some.... Quote
