Patrick Hughes Posted July 3, 2009 Posted July 3, 2009 You are correct, it is used for presentation to give a more realistic appearance of the model rather than an isometric view (perspective providing a vanishing point). You can not edit in perspective. Quote

When do you experts use it? only in 2007 and up you can edit your model while in perspective view, and since you have 2002, i would suggest, you should upgrade there are many new cool feature in 2007 and up....
