acce Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Hi I have a .dwg 3D wireframe drawing and I need to convert it to a 3D solid drawing so I can use it with Inventor. Does anyone know how to convert the wireframe to solid? Thanks in advance Kim / Denmark Quote

acce Posted September 16, 2009 Author Posted September 16, 2009 What software did you use to create the wireframe? How did you create the wireframe? Thanks for your reply! The wireframe has been created with Tekla - The drawing is made from a subcontractor so I'm not sure how they did it. I just can't assambly the wireframe with my solid drawing made in Inventor. Quote
ReMark Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 While I've heard of Tekla I am not familiar with how it creates 3D objects nor with the file export options. Sorry. Quote
shift1313 Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 what is the file type its saved as? are you trying to manipulate it in acad to take it into inventor? I would just go straight into inventor with it. Quote
