MMS Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 It's error or bugs in AutoCAD 2010. Please see a picture Quote
ReMark Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Well that's interesting. I guess you'll need to use Windows built in Calculator instead. Quote
eldon Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Perhaps a dumb question, but how are you entering the figures in the expressions? Is it by entry from your keyboard, or are you copying and pasting from somewhere? It looks llike a rounding error somehow. Quote
Galingula Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Yea, and it is in CAD. I've known about this for a while Quote
rkent Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 works properly in 2010, maybe they fixed it? Quote
alanjt Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Autocad Civil 3D 2009 Command: CAL >> Expression: 750-690 60 Command: CAL >> Expression: 750-691 59 Command: CAL >> Expression: 750-693 57 Command: CAL >> Expression: 750-692 58 Command: CAL >> Expression: 750-691 59 Quote

If i use ACAD & Amech 2009 that's no problem. Quote

edwinprakoso Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 This is a bug in AutoCAD 2010. It's been fix in update 1. Snipped from update 1 readme file: The following defects have been fixed: QUICKCALC Calculations performed by the QUICKCALC command may be incorrect. Try to download it and see if it's still happen. You can download it here. Quote

edwinprakoso Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 I'm not saying this won't solve an issue, but QuickCalc and CAL are two different things. I know. Maybe they use the same calculation engine or something. Because I tried in my AutoCAD 2010, QuickCALC returns the same incorrect values. Quote
ica_cici Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Don't have problem with autoCAD 2008. Maybe you should download the updated file from edwin. Quote
edwinprakoso Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 Just a quick update: I've tried to install the update1, and this issue is fixed on my machine. Quote
