Vinnygunn Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 I need some good ol fashioned noob help guys. i decided to use my teacher's template for an assignment. probably a bad move... but in any case, the layout view is conveniently made as our title block with a viewport where the drawing goes. I'm having trouble scaling the viewport... not because i dont know how, but i cant seem to find the bloody thing. i see the object i drew in model space fine (other than the fact that the scale is too big) but i cant find the viewport border itself to adjust any of the properties. Do you know of any way to call up a viewport? or if theres a way i can at least draw over it or something to recreate my own? I know i can just make my own new layout which i will do if i cant simply find it. attached is the template if it helps. thanks in advance for any help Vince Template_-_Manual_Drafting_-_MECH313-V23.dwg Quote
Vinnygunn Posted February 9, 2010 Author Posted February 9, 2010 btw im referring to layout 1... the viewport in layout 2 is not giving me that problem. Is there just not a viewport but something else similar in layout 1? Edit: i kind of figured out a way to select it with ctrl + a.. what a mess. Quote
Cad64 Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 The viewport is on a layer called Construction, which is turned off. Just turn it on and you will be able to select it and change the scale. Quote
