LISP for finding sloped roof

Hi,

Can anyone help with with a lisp that helps to find the total area of a sloped roof? I am not good with any programming language so I really need help. The plan area is to be determined by tracing the roof line outline (line/polyline) and a dialogue box will appear to ask for the roof slope or pitch and the units can be chosen between metric or imperial. The results will be shown as text.

I have attached the screenshots and hopefully I can get help here.

Thank you very much.

Regards.

Just divide area of object with cosine of roof pitch - you'll get area of roof...

Just a comment marko also has a great draw roof program, if you don't have something already.

Just a question as you have posted a dcl image is that part of a package that you have to pay for ?

Like this has a cost. Yes has roofs.

Unfortunately, more often than not, I tend to give the (roof) plan area than the pitch area. By having a lisp routine/command, I can eliminate this problem. Hopefully someone can help provide one lisp that i can really work with.

Thank you so much...
