Just guessing check the dimension's Text Offset value in the Properties Palette If it's negative remove the minus sign.2 points

I did not see move viewport to side do zooming etc lock and move back if must overlap. That is pretty simple or am I missing something. Never had problems with multiple viewports.1 point
