G'day,

Can the following lisp (CookieCutter2 v1.2.lsp) be modified to select a polyline by "layername"?

or is there script file (not lisp) that can select a closed polyline (or rectangle) by layername and trim/erase all entites outside it?

Any help would be appreciated.

I run Acad 2008

Cheers :)

Shouldn't that have Joe's Name on it?

;; By Joe Burke

;; What does CC2 do which ExpressTools extrim, AKA CookieCutter, doesn't?

;; Works with blocks, hatches and regions by exploding them.

;; Other object types which cannot be trimmed are left intact.

;; Works with objects which do not use a Continuous linetype.

;; Offers an option to delete all objects on visible layers either

;; inside or outside the selected trim object.
