Bill Tillman
I have used earlier versions of AutoCAD before and made use of the ARRAY command. When I did a nice dialogue menu would appear and I could enter the information about the manner in which I wanted to copy the object(s). Now I'm using 2012 but when I open the ARRAY command all I get is command line options. There is no menu to select the options from. Am I missing something new for 2012 or is this the way they now run the ARRAY command? UPDATE: Just read on AutoDesk's website forum, that yes, the geniuses did away with the dialogue box for ARRAY in 2012. This dynamic method they've opted for is far from user friendly like the old method. Just to be silly I guess.
ReMark
I answered this question once this morning already. Is there an ARRAY convention going on? LOL Download and install SP1 for 2012 then type ARRAYCLASSIC at the command line.

LOL Download and install SP1 for 2012 then type ARRAYCLASSIC at the command line. Sorry ReMark, I didn't catch your earlier post. But I applied the SP1 and all is well with the Array command again. Thanks.
ReMark
That's OK Bill. I just thought it peculiar that there were two very similar questions in the space of a few minutes. I don't recall seeing that happen very often. Glad you got it squared away.
rkent
This was just posted and makes the associative array much better. It uses the contextual ribbon, I don't use the ribbon much but I keep it up and keep finding more uses for it, like this one. http://withoutanet.typepad.com/without_a_net/2011/10/contextual-array-ribbon-tab-tip-revisited.html
JD Mather
Spend some time getting used to the new Array - much more powerful.
