drifter15 Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 Good after-noon all I just want to know if it is possiblee to make an animation in AutoCAD 2010? I mean like make two gears move against each other like solid works or make elements assemble together, or make general motion like 3dmax. I know about video motion path animation, but in that one the camera is moving, What about fixing the camera and make objects move? Thanx in advance ... Quote
kencaz Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 No, and I don't think AutoDesk will add that capability in the future either. KC Quote
nocturne00 Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 it would be a great feature, but 3ds already specializes in that discipline, and both of them being under autodesk, i think they will never allow a conflict between their own software with regards to their capabilities. Quote
JD Mather Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 ....two gears move against each other like solid works or make elements assemble together... Autodesk Inventor is the equivalent of SolidWorks for engineering kinematics and Dynamic Simulation. Students can download Inventor Professional for free from http://engineersrule.org Quote
