  1. Which software would you recommend for this? Example: Imagine placing a weight on the end of a diving board and leaving it there over time. To allow me to check for any deflections etc, I'd need to be able to input real world values for all of the materials involved and also specify a timeframe of course. Which software would suit me best. Most 3D physics engines use arbritrary values rather than actual units etc. Certainly I could reference everything to the mass of one object and the like, but I need it to be as scientifically accurate as possible. This is for real world design/simulation rather than gaming etc. Many thanks Nath
