BStreiss
I've been using Autocad 2007 for the past 5 months without these issues, then I had to create a new account on my computer at work and now EVERY time I create a hatch it turns into this dead mass. Yes, I've tried creating an associative hatch, and no, I can't edit them either. Any ideas would greatly help.
ReMark
Well, first off, let me welcome you to the forum BStreiss. Just too bad it was a problem that brought you to us. Could you post a sample drawing?
BStreiss
Thanks ReMark. I'll post a sample on Monday evening.
Cad64
Just a shot in the dark . . . Is the hatch on a locked layer?
BStreiss
Good idea, but this seems to be consistent over many drawing, both new and prior to the switch.
mahahaavaaha
Hi, seems to me that as you said that this started after creating a new userprofile that something has gone haywire in the secondary installationprocess... The places for haymaking are several but I'd recommend trying creating a further userprofile whilst unplugged from the net and with the Virusprotection turned off... See if this won't do it... If not, I suspect you're up to (or down to, I regress...) reinstall... Chee... Sorry, Yours, Petri
BStreiss
As promised, here is a sample file from work. After I created the hatch I tried to edit it on my machine without any luck. My office mate had success, though we made a copy of the file just to be sure she didn't muck up the results. I've also attached a screen shot my my screen moments before I clicked ok to exit from the hatch. Any idea welcome. Thanks for everything. Cad64
Works fine on my machine. Since the problem seems to be isolated to your machine, I think maybe you should try what Mahahaavaaha suggested and run a repair on your installation or uninstall and re-install the program. BStreiss
Problem solved! It happened that the pickstyle variable had gotten set to 2. I changed it to 1 and problem solved.
djleon
Thank you! Will looking for this, I found the Island pick style option and changed it from normal to outer. My hatches were showing in windows, etc, even after using pline and rec.
