hamelay Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 seriously, i need help, want to make title block for my drawing but i don't know how, can anybody tell me step by step Quote
ReMark Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Hamelay: I suggest you post your question anew rather than tack it onto this thread. You'll get more eyes to see it and thus more replies. Titleblocks and borders should be drawn in paperspace at 1:1 scale. Design it any way you want. It's YOUR titleblock. Quote
Cad64 Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 I've moved this question to it's own thread. I actually draw my title blocks in model space and then xref them into my paper space layouts. Quote
ReMark Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 I see you are using Architecture 2009 so I can safely assume you are working in that field. That being the case, look at any good architectural reference book and there has to be a handful of sample drawings with titleblocks pictured. Two books that come readily to mind are: Architectural Graphic Standards... ...and... Architectural Drafting and Design. You might also check your AutoCAD program files themselves for a folder named Sample. There could be one or more sample architectural drawings you can view for ideas. Quote
ReMark Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 An example of a title block: http://nyc.gov/html/ddc/downloads/pdf/desguide/forms/titleblock.pdf Quote
Tankman Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 There are numerous title blocks available, download one and edit as desired. There are numerous title blocks in your AutoCAD program. Just pick one and edit as required. Quote
