Zorg Posted May 11, 2009 Posted May 11, 2009 I'm very new to LISP/Visual Lisp, however i've stumbled across this eBook and it doesn't seem half bad. From what i've been able to make sense of so far, it's providing pretty usefull for leaning the basics. As im sure there are alot of us on CADTutor forums who are also new to it, and are looking to learn how develop lisps i thought i'd post it on here. The link below provides you a .Zip file which contains the full book in .pdf format aswell as some demo lisps which i think you're free to play around with. Also, if there is anyone on here who knows of any other good, free books that have simple tutorials for getting a good first hand grip on Visual Lisp, please please please post. http://www.steinvb.net/vldb/vldb-book.zip Regards, Z Quote

Se7en Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Does anyone know how to contact Dave? Quote
lfe011969 Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 While I don't know David personally, I used to work for the same company he did when he wrote the Visual Lisp Bible. He was way too talented to work for the company we were with and I guess he finally figured that out and left many years ago. It took me a few years longer to see the light but I finally gathered up the nerve to start over at another company (ironically I went to the same company David went to, though he had left again before I got there). Anyways, I know David maintains two blogs so you might be able to contact him there. http://skatterbrainz.blogspot.com http://scriptzilla.blogspot.com Lonnie Quote
