AutoCAD Options - Profiles - To Network or not ?

Hello All,

There hasn't been an awful lot of chatter in here , but i'm putting out a call for help. I have seen others post about drafting new cad standards and such on various threads. Well I also LUCKILY, have been tasked with this job at my office. My senior v.p. wants me to come up with a detailed standards for our office. I have come up with a decent rough draft. ... The problem is he also wants me to give him a detailed description of the install of Autocad that we have on our machines. Well, there isnt really any structure amongst all the computers and the network. I am in the process of putting together all the folders for the support file search path so that they are all on the network directory and not on individual computers. Do you think this will be a problem? My v.p. wants to basically start from scratch and re-install cad on all our machines with the new setup that I am creating. I have startup scripts that run to setup the linetypes and all titleblocks and blocks that we have in our libraries and also text fonts that we will be using. Has anyone else had similar tasks and be able to assist if possible with tips to make it as seamless as possible? sorry so long winded and potentially not explained very well.. all help is greatly appreciated.
