I'be been given a task to make an animated assembly of one of our products to be completed by the end of the day. The problem is, we only have Autocad 2009. Does anyone know of a way to do this or am I better off looking a a trial version of Inventor and try to work out how to use that?

Any help would be greatly apprieciated.

You can do it in AutoCAD if it is for fun or to test your skills but for a real work you should use a dedicated program.

For presentations I used to save AutoCAD images and to bind them together in Powerpoint or in a gif animator software

Thanks Fuccaro for the reply...I did some research this morning and because of time constraints I found that Powerpoint is definitely the best option for now. I did find some old threads here that you had posted about gif, etc...they were very interesting...so thanks for those too!
