1st option... restart AutoCAD... 2nd option... restart PC... 3rd option... repair/reinstall AutoCAD.

Hopefully option 1 will solve it.

Have they been undefine'd ?

Hmmm... I did think of that but to undefine the properties would be either deliberate or malicious (I don't know of any app that disables something as fundamental as properties)... if that is the case who knows what else has gone. Easy enough to check tho' if you know where to look (any of the lisp routines loaded on AutoCAD start-up)... try REDEFINE units or type .units (with the dot) at the command line.

Hey guys, I know this is a few years old, but I've come across something interesting. You can't install ACAD2000 on vista because the installer is 16bit; not compatible. However, you can still manually install by installing onto an XP and copying over registries. This unit and properties problem is happening to me, along with DSETTINGS, I can't even click on drafting settings under tools, it won't open. I've fixed issues with dimensions with registry swaps, so I know a registry fix will work here too, meaning a reinstall. (btw, dsettings are found in the dwgaids.arx file under "c:\Program Files\ACAD2000\". The only reason I brought it up was incase you were interested, and also to warn anyone who uses registry cleaners, I've seen it cause similar problems here that just don't seem worth it.
