Is it just me or are those two sets of specifications mixed up?

If I'm right on that I would go with number 1. Its is the more advanced card and it seems to match up nicely to the specifications of the navida quadro range of cards in that price range.

but out of those 2 what would be the best to run auto cad and inventor the 1 of the 4850 or 2 of the 4650

well obviously the 4850 by spec alone. But you won't see me wasting money on a gaming card for a CAD app. :)

well my main use of the power is gaming but i just want to make sure it will run auto cad

I would get the HD4770 over the 4850 because of its lower cost and nearly identical performance.

Either would work but, do you need a gaming video card?

I find AutoCAD my game. I leave gaming, bang, bang, up to the youngsters.

A workstation desktop or laptop would be my choice.

If you are a hard core gamer then stick with the gaming card (Radeon vs. FireGL). It can handle the CAD side suitably well but not perfect.

First card has a memory bandwidth of 61Gb/s.

2nd Card, 25Gb/s.
