ekdesigner Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I am using ADT 2005 and am looking for some simple elevation views of a dishwasher, a refridgerator, faucets, and a stackable washer/dryer. I haven't had any luck finding any online to download. Anybody have any suggestions? Quote
ReMark Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 You could try over at the CAD Block Exchange Network. Quote
Tankman Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 You might find some here: http://www.draftsperson.net/index.php?title=Draftsperson.net:Free_AutoCAD_Blocks Quote
f700es Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 What I usually do is find the appliance I want and I then go to the manufacture’s website and see what they have there. You can usually find a PDF sheet of the specs. Sometimes you can even get CAD files. If you get a PDF you can use this and either use a product like Illustrator or GSView with PStoEdit (http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/gsview/pstoedit.htm) to convert the PDF to a CAD file and then insert into your drawing. You will have to scale the converted PDF a bit but better than drawing from scratch. I went over to the GE website and they even have CAD files to download. http://products.geappliances.com/ApplProducts/Dispatcher?REQUEST=SPECPAGE&SKU=PSB48YSXSS&SITEID=GEA&TABID=4 This one is even in 3D. You can also look at SketchUp's 3D wharehouse. Sure they are not DWG files but if you have the pro version you can cpnvert these back. Good luck. Sean Quote
