shannon caruso Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 I need to plot the base building of my drawing lighter than the electrical symbols I am placing. Does anyone know a quick way to convert the base building into a half tone for printing? Thanks for your time! Quote
tzframpton Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 You've got to adjust the Plot Style. Whatever color they are, go to that color and turn Dither On, and adjust the Screening % number until it looks how you want. Quote
SuperCAD Posted May 16, 2009 Posted May 16, 2009 Or you could use layer overrides if you're using viewports in paperspace. Quote

Does anyone know a quick way to convert the base building into a half tone for printing? Thanks for your time! Both replies are helpful. If you need the detail instructions on how to manage the things then follow the steps below: CtrlP > goto plot style table > Select the desired ctb > Click on the edit button beside it > goto Form View Tab > Select the color in which your base building is (If that is not a unique color and used at other places too.. you will have to give it a unique color > Change Screening to 50 for that color > Save and Plot. This must help you which I hope is a permanent easy way to plot. Good luck. Quote
