Background Image Problems

Hi All,

 

I am having difficulty in getting an image i placed on a box to show up when rendered,What i have done is taken a dwg file and converted it to a jpg using JPGOUT command.The jpg is an engineering drawing in model space,which i had planned to place behind the 3d model that i created from it (Like the model was sitting on top of this image which represent's a sheet of paper).

 

Does anyone know whare i am going wrong or another way to achieve my end game,Here are the image's any help as alway's is greatly appreciated.

You need to create a flat plane behind your model and apply your image to it, just like you would with any material.
