I am using AutoCAD 2005 and have been having a problem with one drawing not wanting to let me use ctrl + C. ("copy" will work, but I would like the shortcut to work.) Here is what I know:

1) It will work in other drawings (ctrl +c).

2) It will not work in the same drawing on other computers.

3) Ctrl + c works in other programs.

4) There are x-refs in the drawing. I have tried detaching them and then copying and it still crashed.

5) I have reinstalled cad and it still doesn't work.

6) The computers I have tried it on don't have the same video cards, but I have tried updating their drivers just in case to no avail.

7) We did not get anything in this file from anyone else and all components were drawn in the same version of Cad.

8) The drawing has never been converted to a dxf.

9) There may be a possibility the a portion of the drawing came from a recovered file (but I am not sure because the person who I asked about it was a little vague and unsure.)

10) When I audit the file there are no errors found.

What am I missing?

Any Ideas?
