SAM_R Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 I'm tying to BURST some objects in a drawing but when I put the command in Auto Cadd tells me "Unknown command". I have used BURST many times and now it's like it is not there. Does anyone know how to get it back? I am using Auto Cadd 2008. Thank you. Quote
lpseifert Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Burst is an Express tool; be sure the Express tools are installed and loaded. Quote
Tiger Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 BURST is an express tools - do you still have access to other Express Tools? Do you see the Express tools pulldown-menu? ed: damn, lpseifert beat me  Quote
SAM_R Posted May 19, 2009 Author Posted May 19, 2009 When I try to BURST form the Express tool in the command line I get "unknown Command BURST"! Quote
lpseifert Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 Do any of the express tools work? If not, try typing Expresstools at the command line to try and load them. Quote
SAM_R Posted May 19, 2009 Author Posted May 19, 2009 My other EXPRSSTOOLS do work and when I type EXPRESSTOOLS in the command line I get "Unknown Command" Quote
NBC Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 You can get a copy of the Burst.lsp from the link - http://www.hinst.net/~phalcon/cad/AutoCad/Bin/acadFeui/Program%20Files/Root/Express/burst.lsp Quote
Tiger Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 weird that EXPRESSTOOLS is an unknown command... have you tried to restart AutoCAD and/or the computer? Quote
SAM_R Posted May 19, 2009 Author Posted May 19, 2009 After restarting everything the burst command comes up but it will not burst block. The command line say object selected then I hit enter but nothing happens. Quote
SAM_R Posted May 19, 2009 Author Posted May 19, 2009 After using burst I get this message no function definition: VLAX-GET-ACAD-OBJECT Quote
