Brian_63 Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 I have created profiles and alignments in C3D 2008, but somehow I can't change the precision on the stations and elevations. I have found WHERE to change them, but when I do, it stays at two decimal places regardless of what I do. Its very frustrating. Any suggestions? Quote
Cad64 Posted May 19, 2009 Posted May 19, 2009 You posted this question in the 3DS Max section. I have moved it to the Civil 3D section for you. Quote
sinc Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Did you dig ALL the way down to where the setting is located? For the Alignment, you actually have to go into your Major/Minor label styles, as shown in the attached image. Or are you trying to find the settings in the Profile View? The Profile View is not quite as convoluted, but you will probably need to change it in multiple places. Those are in the Profile View Style, on the Horizontal and Vertical Axes tabs. Look for the "Tick label text" settings. Quote
Brian_63 Posted May 20, 2009 Author Posted May 20, 2009 sinc: I've done all that, hence the frustration! Like I said before, I know exactly where to go to change the precision, but when I do, it stays at two decimal places. I've tried changing units too, but that doesn't work. Any other ideas? Quote
feargt Posted May 20, 2009 Posted May 20, 2009 Refer to pic in post by SINC Have you just changed the decimal precision and clicked ok or have you clicked on the text in the black window, deleted what is there and then clicked where the red arrow is........before clicking ok? Quote
