P_c Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Gday all, I Just firstly want to apologise as i know that this has already been explained how to fix but i am still having a problem. When the select shape file box comes up when opening a file, autocad seems to find the shape file but still comes up with the prompt. Im a bit confused as to why. Apart from purging the shape file out is there another way to fix this. The shape file originally comes from a microstation drawing if that makes any difference. Please see image. Cheers Quote
rkmcswain Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 That dialog is prompting you for a "shape file", not a font. It looks like you are selecting a font from the Fonts directory. Quote
Arizona Posted May 21, 2009 Posted May 21, 2009 Like R.K. illudes to, there are many kinds of SHX files. Fonts are basicly shapes, but they're not shapes, they're fonts. You've got to pick a shape file, not just an SHX. Quote
P_c Posted May 21, 2009 Author Posted May 21, 2009 Cheers, I did not realise the where different kinds of .shx files Quote
