Is there any chance that in Autocad you can draw wall element with hatch. Not an 3D element but simple 2D shape!

I mean this would speed up my workflow a zillion times. No stupid offsets, or regions...

No lines or polylines? Just using Hatch? You would need a way to define the limits of the hatch without drawing anything on the screen as the points are picked. Not going to happen.

What are you drawing? Can you post an example?

If you just want the walls to be represented by solid type pattern then just draw two parrallel lines and make them into plines with a thickness. Use multiline.

Else as per ReMark it can be done but you have to draw an enclosed shape first. I am sure there is a few examples of "draw walls" lisp on this forum. These will draw the walls and fillet automatically as you go.

Ps a trick give your wall linework a thickness bingo 3d walls!

Welcome to the CADTutor forum.

It is never a good idea to post one's email address in a public forum. I suggest you either remove it or write it in such a way that a bot cannot collect the information.

If you have a question it is best that you post it for all members to see. It will greatly increase your chances of receiving a reply.
