Denkus Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Hey guys, today my firend was telling me how you could change the colour of the drawing page on AUTOCAD. he said its easier to to draw on a black background when you start to use fluorescent colours and etc. If anyone could help, this would be appreciated Quote
The Buzzard Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Go to the Options menu under the display tab and click the Colors button. This will bring up the Drawing Window Colors dialog. Under Context list make sure 2D Model Space is selected. The top right corner there is a popup list call Color. You can select your window color from there. See the menu images below from ACAD 2009. Elvis Posted May 29, 2009 Posted May 29, 2009 hey! thats a pretty good idea for when you're drawing with layers. Quote
Car5858 Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 One other thing I found out the hard way is that the dwg's with the Black background saved in the R14 file type will not display correctly in AutoCad 2000. I ended up changing the background to white and saving to a different file name. They were able to open the white back ground files with no problems. Quote
