SAM_R Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 I'm having some problems with setting my text size in a drawing that is set at 3/32=1'. In our darwings that are 1/4"=1' the text is set to 4" and in 1/8"=1' it is set to 8". Can anyone help me with this 3/32"=1' text size? Quote
rkent Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Your plotted text height is 0.08333", so for 3/32=1', the scale factor is 128 (there are 128 3/32's in a foot)(32/3*12=128 ). So you multiply scale factor by desired plotted text height, 128*0.08333 = 10.6666". 1/4"=1', text height is 4, scale factor for 1/4"=1' is 48, 4/48=0.08333" plotted text height. Quote

Thanks for completing my thought - after the holiday on Monday I'm just a little off the beam. Well more so than normal Quote
