jamiegreig1987 Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 Hi Guys, I am doing a visual at the moment but i am having a problem with the scales of my textures. They seem fine in the material library/adjust bitmap screen, but when i render they are not coming up! The seem scaled down. I am going to scale it up anyway but is there a permanent solution to this problem? Cheers guys, Jamie Quote
Lazarus Posted June 1, 2009 Posted June 1, 2009 This is what i do when i apply textures.I turn on the realistic visual style and it shows all objects and materials applyed to them.If i don't know the size of the texture i set it to fit to object/fit to gizmo.If i can't make anything out of it i set te tiling to 2 or 3 or maybe a smaller value like 0.5 for both U and V.When it starts to make sense i use an appropriate value. Doove Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 I do the same as Lazarus, just mess around with the tile size until it looks about right. Helps if you remember the size of what you're drawing i.e. if I'm adding a brick material I'll try and adjust so I get the right number of courses in the wall. Quote
