Anyone know how to make a blank line in mtext using the command line?

I am using AutoCad LT 2009

i am trying to do...

-mtext

1.3864,9.0665

h

.06

j

tc

.8123,42

Line 1

Line 2

*Blank Line*

Line 3

I have no idea how to make the *Blank Line* be a blank line.

Any ideas?

You should be able to press "enter" as many times as you like?

apparently not from the command line...

from the command line if you press enter on a blank entry it exits mtext

try "\P" (once for each blank line)

That works great.

just noting it for anyone else that trys it

you need to include the \P at the end of a line, not on its own line.

i.e.

Label\P

(space shows here)

not the following - it makes to lines with the following

Label

\P(space shows here)

Just a bit of a drift...

To have a second line of text in a dimension - type '\P' in the text override section and then add your text. Or you can type ddedit at the command line, select the dimension and the dimension text opens like an mtext editor.
