At work we have been using ACAD 2006 forever and have recently decided to upgrade. However there a couple of minor issues that are annoying us all.

1. In paperspace, where viewports with 3D views in them overlap each other, the viewport isn't 'see through' anymore like it is in ACAD 2006. It now has a solid background to it. I can't find anywhere how to change this. Is there a setting somewhere that will allow me to see what is underneath?

2. Also in paperspace, back in ACAD 2006 when i stretched a viewport with a 3D view in it, the contents of the viewport got bigger. In newer versions of ACAD it seems that they don't anymore. Is this another setting?

Can anyone help us out with this please?
