prints sharp letters

The fonts look fine on the screen, but when i print letters with angles like "M" or "N" the angels become sharp and extend above and below other letters. I'm using acad2004.

check the ctb or stb you are using, go to the plot style the text is using, look at line end style, and or line join style. I can't remember which one right now. Change to "Use object end style" and "Use object join style", respectively.
