ink Posted June 21, 2009 Posted June 21, 2009 Hi, i have to draw the views that are missing in these 3 objects and the cuts indicated: I have tried to visualize how the objects are but i just can't figure it out. If i can't see how the objects are i can't do the cuts either. If anyone could help me with the missing views i would really appreciate it. Thanks! Quote
ReMark Posted June 22, 2009 Posted June 22, 2009 Looks like a homework problem to me. Is that correct? Our unwritten policy is that we don't do homework. We've all been there and done that and we aren't the students nor will we get the grade. Looks like you need a side and two front views. Were you taught the concept of projection? For example, the object at the bottom. You can project lines down from the image on the left to get locations of edges. The image to the right provides you with the pertinent heights. See where I am going with this? Quote

Great tip - I was taught this in my short time as a drafter - works a treat Quote
